Vice mayor Branko Škarja is from Senožeti, he is 43 years old, married and the father of three children aged 10, 18 and 22. He works at Autocommerce d.d. where he heads the spare parts department. He has been a municipal councillor for three terms now. He was elected from the independent and non-party Lista krajanov Senožeti, which was established by the initiative of the villagers of Senožeti.

In the following three years Mr Škarja will pay special attention to the fields of economy, environment and spatial planning. He will also be in charge of the Education and childcare investment committee. As head of this committee, his chief effort will be to  help provide appropriate facilities for schoolchildren in the central primary school, both branch schools, and preschool day care.

Mr. Škarja is aware of the benefits Dol pri Ljubljani enjoys owing to its favourable geographical position and optimal connections to the nearby capital. A new business park will thus present a new stimulus for the economy and for entrepreneurship within the municipality.

During his term, Mr Škarja will be committed to the efficient and steady development of the municipality. His priority will be to ensure all villagers high-quality living conditions.
